About our name, C/o Gerd.

The team behind Care of Gerd are literally raised on the cloudberry bog. At times when all other neighbouring kids seemed to travel on adventurous holidays, we spent much valued time together with the family on forrest excursions, learning how to refine mother nature. Care of Gerd is undoubtedly an offspring of the knowledge we picked up already as children regarding herbs and berries. Our beloved mother is named Gerd, and we couldnot think of a more suitable person to represent this pure and healthy philosophy that we aimed for with the brand. Gerd is synonymous with reliability and stability, always curiously eager to explore life and a true friend of animals, nature and her surroundings. In Nordic mythology Gerd stands for beauty and Northern Light.
